Brainteaser for January 10, 2011 Question: Five soccer teams, United, County, Rovers, Albion and Thistle took part in a league tournament. Their colours were white, green, yellow, red, and blue, though not necessarily in that order. No teams were tied in the standings at the end of the tournament. From the fo llowing information, determine for each team it's captain, colours, and position it finished in the standings. Rovers did not win the league, but finished higher than fourth. Neither Albion nor the green team finished in the top three. Evans captained the team in yellow. Cooke's team finished ahead of County which was captained by Dixon. Allen's team finished second and Boyle's team finished last. The team in white finished lower than both United and the team in blue, but above Evan's team.
