As a result each guest paid the manager $9.00 for the room (the original $10.00 less the dollar that the Bell Man gave him). So the question is if each of three guests paid $9.00 or $27.00 and the Bell Man kept $2.00 this only totals $29.00. What happened to the other dollar when the guests originally paid $30.00?
