Brainteaser for August 23, 2012 Question: I was out walking with my son David and as we approached a bridge I made him the following offer. "Walk across the bridge and back and I will double the amount of money in your pocket each time." He enthusiastically agreed. "But" I said "each time you must give m e $24". Without a second thought David set out to earn his money after three trips he found he had no money left. How much money had he started with?
